remember (and this is tough), leukemia is not necessarily a death sentence. my aunt was diagnosed and given a year to live....then lived for another 10 years. my dad rung me this afternoon and told me he has leukemia!!!!

he's only just found out so couldn't get into any details without breaking down so i don't know anything yet, but i think he said he's starting chemo this week......i'm just so shocked and numb!

i was in the warehouse toilet when he rang and burst into tears after i walked out, a couple of old ladies looked at me funny.......i'm now chugging back a bourbon which is helping a little.....i'm not looking forward to telling my DH and brother when they get home

i'm so so scared for him and my mum
