yeah i had one and it was uncomfortable but seemed to do the trick...i went into labour the next morning....

havent had one done myself but was told same as teh others said, not painful just uncomfortable. I dont know what that is...but sound like a normal sweep? I had one done and it was uncomfortable but not painful!!

I am booked to see my midwife tommorrow to have one done. I was just wondering if it hurts.

I'm hopeful that it will get things started as I can hardly walk from my pelvic joints being soo sore.
