I've always added formula after defrosting. I used a bit of water to puree anything that didn't puree easily. I'm the same, I always added milk after defrosting. To get the puree right I used some of the cooking liquid. If I make pureed food with formula in it, am I able to freeze it, as long as I do it straight away? I am not sure with formula.
