They have heaps of that kiwifruit stuff at the hospital to make it soft. Its more a mental thing, physically it doesn't really hurt. My dreaded fear was doing the number two's. But the time had to come and so I pretended I was in labour again - phycological I am sure but it worked and it wasn't all that bad really.]]>

Inc drinking YUMMY Lactulose and piles of water (which you should do anyway if breastfeeding).<br /><br />The reason this can cause a few little "hurts" is because everything down there is muddled up...much like before you have a baby so you digestion is much slower and takes a while to get back into gear.]]>

But yeah, either fold up a wad of toilet paper into a pad or use a maternity pad and hold that while you go. If its been a few days ask for some lactulose or something cos it will be sooo much worse if you get constipated...]]>
