Yep. We had the same problem!

You can get extensions from Baby City or Baby Factory for about $20. Get the 600mm one as it gives you more room to play with.

They are by Safe n Sound and compatible with most car seats. So I am having issues.....

We have just got a new car and tried to fit Maddi's carseat in and we just cant do it. She has just the typical Safe n sound and the car is a nissan station wagon.

I am wanting to keep her in rear facing position as long as possible but just can not get the tether strap to reach. Has anyone else had similar problems? Am I doing something ridiculously wrong? Do I need an extension or something?

Please help...
