I've also recently read them and found them a nice easy read, but sometimes the Aussie 'lingo' drove me nuts and the overly simple language and repetition drove me bonkers - but then I'm not a teenager with a ten second attention span...just a geeky, yound adult reading, grown up!

Next on the list is the third book in the Twilight Series. I *love* young adult books and have read heaps of them (you'll love Boy in the Stripped PJs Peanut - the movie is no where near as good.) After the teen fix I'll probably read some Lionel Shriver (she wrote 'We need to talk about Kevin') I've got Post Birthday World and another one about families by her. I have STACKS of books to read. I read about 2 books a week when I'm on a roll and always have some ready and waiting for me...I still really want to finish Catch 22, but struggle with it!

This book is set in America in the 1940s and is about the Ku Klux Klan.
Im enjoying this book because even though its fiction there is a lot of truth in it. I remember studying black civil rights at school, it has always been a topic that fascinates me.
