The link lillibit posted is really useful - click on looking for a midwife, then recent availability list.

It gives you a list of who is available and I see there are a few with spaces for January. I've got a couple of meetings next week - with Jo and Lynley so will know soon hopefully. Nikki Murtagh was incredible! I ended up with her right at the end of my pregnancy and she spent hours getting me up to speed (at 34 weeks my previous LMC hadn't done a birth plan or anything) and her backup delivered Jake. They were so great I'm def using them next time!

So I don't know anyone IRL that I can ask for midwife recommendations, so I thought I'd ask on here. I'd really appreciate some recommendations (or suggestions of who to avoid). This is all very scary!!
