I find that he wakes up soooo grumpy though! Sometimes hes fine but I agree with Peachy its like hes been woken up in the middle of his sleep cycle. I have to sit with him and cuddle and chat and rock and after about 20 minutes hes ok but still grumpier than usual for the rest of the evening.]]>

Her morning sleep is gettin shorter - it was 8 - 10, but now it is 8.30 - 9.45ish.]]>

I sit on the couch with her with the TV on and let her go back to sleep for 10 mins or so and she wakes up happy as larry!  <br /><br />Once I even laid with her on the couch after she had woken mid sleep cycle and she went back to sleep for nearly 2 more hours!!  I managed to untangle myself from her and continue with my chores while continued her sleep on the couch <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> ]]>

Try a few different things to see what settles her the best. Things that have worked for us are cuddles, food, drink or sometimes just being left alone with something distracting on TV.]]>

I think he wakes up before he needed to and we just bring him out into the lounge and we have a cd of kids songs that we put on and he just lays on one of us all nice and quiet until hes ready to get up and get on with things.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=20127">BugTeeny</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 25816<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 11 April 2009 at 4:20pm<br /><br />Ever since putting the clocks back Hannah's been waking from her afternoon nap in a fit of rage.<br />It takes a good 15 minutes to calm her down, poor sausage!<br /><br />We thought, at first, that it was because her body clock was still thinking it was dinner time, but she's not interested in food.<br /><br />She has two naps a day; 9:30am-11am and 2:30-4/4:30.<br />It's only her afternoon nap that sees her waking badly.<br />She wakes first thing happily and will stay happy for up to an hour in her cot playing and chatting (heheh mean Mummy refusing to go in to get her until 7 <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif" border="0">) and her morning nap is the same, lots of happy chatter. <br /><br />I wondered if it was the neighbours doing something at this time that was waking her, but the last two days I've been outside around her wake-up time and it's been quiet - yet she still wakes in the same way.<br /><br />Has anyone else experienced this?<br />Any ideas?<br />Teeth? <br />Nightmares?<br /><br />*edited for spelling<br /><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by MamaPickle</span>]]>
