Try The Nunnery we've stayed there twice now, and its close to everything. I've stayed at The Victoria Hotel on a shopping trip with a girlfriend - was a great location, we walked everywhere. It was really, really cheap, we stayed in an economy room which was somewhere between a hotel and a backpackers in terms of quality. Has anyone got any recommendations for a motel/hotel in central Melbourne for Dh to stay for 5 nights?  He's going on his own, so it doesn't need to be anything flash.  We've never been there before so don't know the city at all!

 

Any suggestions will be appreciated!
