If he doesn't want to give a sample the Dr can't make him! But looking at your chart, your lp does seem short so might just be that you need to get it lengthened or something. Your partner might not even need to give a sample as Dr might just deal with you first :-)

    Author: MindyW
Subject: 26196
Posted: 28 April 2009 at 10:41am

I dont have a late ovualtion, in fact I wasnt ovualting at all. I had loads of blood tests done and my poor DH ( lol) only had x1 Semen analysis too do. He procrastinated doing it and left it til last minute before our first FA appoint. Well, I never heard the end of it, I had to go and drop it off at the medlab- he refused to (I guess he was embarrassed- not that they care at all what is being dropped off!). I heard about that darn test for 3 days...Until....

My first appointment at FA he came into the room when I had my scan (We thought it was going to be an abdo one but turned out to be a transvaginal one). Seeing what I had to do... he was pale and actually said to me "I'm sorry I'll never complain 'bout it again" and he hasnt!

I guess after that long story, I'm saying that maybe your DH needs to compromise a little in order to sort all this out for you- you may (and hopefully well!) get the ultimate reward out of it!

DH's "boys" were absolutely fine, I was diagnosed with PCOS- now we are on treatment (Clomid) and both feeling more positive.. Hope that helps your DH to make that step... and you never know, there may be something the Dr picks up and he may not even have to do a test. Or there may be nothing wrong at all! but you may not know til you make that step!

Good luck
Edited for spelling

Edited by MindyW
