I would say whether you get one would depend on how many sandwiches/paninis etc you eat.
We have one at work and I must say it makes lovely toasted sandwiches - so much better than a cold sandwich this time of the year.

my sandwich press!! We were without one for about a year and it was terrible! I use if for my lunches quite often and we use it for weekend lunches heaps.

The girls both like the toasties too. we use ours all the time, a toastie is so much nicer than a sandwhich in the winter. its been keeping me going through the morning sickness!

If you don't already have a toasted sandwich/Jaffle maker, then it would be worthwhile getting one. However, if you have the other - I wouldn't bother...

It's nice being able to make your own panini's and all, but how often can you really be arsed pulling any extra kitchen equipment

I've been making up a spicy mince mix and using flat wraps, make a parcel with grated cheese and the mince mix inside and put in the sandwich press for a couple of mins....its yummy!

We use our daily - I wouldnt be without it, toasted sandwiches, toast, vegies, meats... you name it we have probably tried to cook it

Its so easier to clean, much easier than our george forman or our grill. Its small enough that it can live on our kitchen bench.... I just it!

LOVE our sandwich press! So much more versatile than the old toastie-pie ones. We usually have paninis stuffed with LOTS as a meal at least once a week. And as someone else said - so much easier to clean

We use ours all the time. Fits any size bread, panini, foaccacia, bun, unlike a toasted sandwich machine. Can also do other things like vegetables - i have grilled mushrooms and courgettes in mine. I don't have one but my mum does. It really does make a lovely toasted sandwich, panini etc.
