Sophie is only just cutting back on her morning sleep now.

At Ryan's age she would be up at 7am for bottle and breakfast and then dressed and back to bed from 8/8.15ish (she could not last any longer ) and would sleep until 10. Then up and out and about until 12.30/1 ish and back to bed from 1 - 3pm. It is only in the last 2 weeks that we have found that she needs 30-45 mins in the morning or it spoils the lunch time sleep (and makes the afternoon and evening nasty!!) She is still in bed (and usually asleep by 7).

Maybe try a bit more sleep in the morning - sleep begets sleep!

I used Babywise and it was great.
Maybe watch him and put him to bed as soon as he shows tired signs then see what routine develops out of that??
