Yes it is in most pills, I checked microgynon which was the one I was on and it is in that. You can google the active ingredient to see if it is a premarine or not, but basically if it begins with an E then it's from horses but I also found one beginning with L that was from horses also.
There are pills that don't use hormones from horses and there are also other means of contraception.

Yeah I suppose we all draw a line somewhere. I buy free range chicken and eggs because I don't agree with battery farming either, but I do still eat meat and where leather. Here's my personal opinion..

Yes, I hate animal cruelty. It's terribly sad and awful, but in saying that - I still eat non-free range chicken and eggs even though I saw the documentary which showed the conditions that some of the battery hens live in.

Also, I will definitely be going back on the pill when I have finished bf'ing. I would rather not be pregnant again if I can avoid it.

I also like leather shoes.. And I use disposable nappies.

There are too many things I could feel guilty about, and it's not that I don't care as such.. I just don't care enough to stop living my life the way I do.

OK kinda confused, but what that vid was getting at was that type of med (premarine)??? Is that is almost every pill???

I have just recently found out where they get the hormones used for the pill, and hrt and some other hormone treatments and quite frankly I am disgusted and also deeply upset that I supported this industry for the 11 years that I was on the pill.
