Even now when I put Ishan down for tt, he gets a bit upset but I try my best to distract him by placing his fave toys there and moving things so he can follow them. I'm very consistent with giving him loads of tt. I started himoff with only 10 secs max at a time, probably 5-6times a day and am now doing 9-10xday with anywhere from 10-45mins. He doesn't always love it (even sometimes he'll get upset as soon as he's down but it's the distraction that makes it a LOT easier. If he gets way too upset nowadays, I'll turn him over andd give him a break and try again when he's calmed down again. Sometimes it's hard to watch your baby struggle but you gotta realize that their whole life they will encounter struggles and you're there to help them along. good luck!

My DD hated tummy time as she was really spilly and didnt crawl until 10 months. She walked at 13 months and just prefered to be upright I guess.
I remember I used to put her on her tummy and put my hand against her feet so she could push herself along iykwim
All babies do the milestones in their own time.
I wouldn't push the tummy time if she hates it though, babies seem to do milestones as they are ready and comfortable IMO. Two of my girls didn't crawl until 10mos and the other one was 4.5mos! so it's a personal thing. Just ride out the TT that you are doing but as soon as she shows distress, roll her onto her back and leave her happy.

She is getting VERY frustrated because she can't crawl yet and she desperately wants to move. When she on tummy time, she will push up on her arms and rock (but doesnt get up on her knees). Is there anything I can do to help her?
