I was actually advised to use phenergan during pregnancy not just for hayfever, but to sleep! I had to take something, I'm hardout allergic to lilies and playing in a church band over xmas was misery!

I think the ones that are safe don't contain decongestant and also might make you drowsy but I can live with that!

The only thing i would use is a saline spray or homeopathic remedies. I don't like to take anything when I'm pregnant. Go to a chemist and ask what is safe. Or ask your MW if you've got one. It drives you crazy huh.

She said that she had spoken to a few OB's and they have all told her that their is no reason why a pregnant women cant have hayfever tabs there is no proof that they can cause anything to go wrong, so she gave me scrpit for some. I am taking Razene, and its such a relief.

I dont think you would be able to take them in the first 12 weeks though asthats when bubs is growing all its major organs and such.
