Yep, I've been through that too, and I was told also that's its too much foremilk that causes it. So if your baby is gaining slowly you may want to consider block feeding which is only allowing one breast per meal and feeding from the same breast a few times in a row.

A baby who gets lots of foremilk and no hindmilk may be windy because the foremilk is very sweet and high in lactose which can cause a lactose overload and make their tummies sore.

I had the same issue when my wee chopper was little and my LC cleared it right up. She is awesome.

Yeah the green poos can be wind related, which can mean your baby is getting too much foremilk. Your breasts are very full in the morning which means baby can get mostly the thin watery milk which = green poos. hey girls thanks so much for ya help on this one, think it must be wind related as she always has blue lip and im constantly burping her(feels like all day) as i get super anxious about the 5pm witching hour (colic? psycho hour or 4) i have been eating the most bland food and changed diet heaps to see if it was just one thing.
she has started the inconsolable crying in the avos for a hour or more but i think thats normal aye?

hey dana thanks nah cant make tammys we are up north for a 103rd and 80th bdays so sucks we cant go.

M's was green this morning. Even managed to smear it up her tummy, down her legs and up her back lol. It was so gross. She's FF but they vary in colour all the time.

Usually wind related, maybe there's something different you have eaten thats affected the milk.....

Yup, I agree.
Hannah had some greenish poos at the exact same age - MW was quite happy that it was nothing but wind.
As Emma said, as long as she seems fine in herself and isn't in any discomfort, it's all good

Are you breastfeeding? It's normal for breastfed babies to have green poos on occasion, it's generally caused by wind, or by something you've eaten going thru her a bit too quickly via the breastmilk.
