Problem is more likely to be that it will be harder to find a midwife as they tend to get booked out very early, not that you are having a problem pregnancy.

Hi all,

I'm currently 13 weeks preggies, and I'm only just looking around for a midwife - my question is, has anyone else been in the same position, waiting a few weeks before getting a midwife? My doctor recommended I dont need one until after 12 weeks, and I was fine with that because she has never lead me astrray, but I'm a little embaressed telling friends because they think that is really strange.
