I was prescribed them but never took them. In hindsight I wish I had as I couldn't cope when the labour came after 5 weeks of no sleep from various issues. I was given zopiclone when I was 10 weeks pregnant, I had the worst jet-lag and desperately needed to "reset the clock". I was told to only take 1/2 of one. The Dr said it was one of the only ones that were not "do NOT take during pregnancy", only "not recommended".

My midwife prescribed me these while I was in labour, They're not good to take in 1st or 2nd trimester as can have a negative effect on developing vital organs, but in the last week or so having you rested so you can give your all for the birth is more important then the small (very small) risk that they may harm bubs.
