Author: SMoody
Subject: 26795
Posted: 28 May 2009 at 2:41pm

I had to have progesterone oral tablets from 5 weeks to 13 weeks with McKayla. I lost the twin at 5 weeks but she had a heartbeat and that is why I was on progesterone as mine was low and my body was confused as half of it was trying to keep the healthy baby and the other part trying to miscarry.

I had no symptoms before this. And I only started feeling slighly nauseous at about 9 weeks and lasted to 12 weeks. I might have puked about 5 times in that time period. But no sore boobs nothing like that.

Later on when I was off it I had some other symptoms like smells ect that affected me but not really.

This time with Andrew I wasnt on progesterone and I still cant stop puking. The symptoms is so much worse.

So dont worry too much as each pregnancy is really different and although they say progesterone have a tendency to make pregnancy symptoms worse it is not always the case.

I have a lot of friends that were on it and we had such a wide variety of symptoms.

Good luck

I started developing a belly quite early, but I think that's more to do with the fact there's two of them then anything else!

When preg with Isla I was exhausted and had sore as boobs from 4 weeks. I didnt have morning sickness at all tho but definatly had lots of other symptoms.

Was just wondering if there is a connection to me feeling so well at this stage compared to last time and me taking progetsrone this time?
