If too long or not sure, then would sterilize again. If you have your own steam sterilizer, than why not just keep it in there until you need them?

    Author: RuthyH
Subject: 26834
Posted: 30 May 2009 at 4:43pm

Hi all, I'd appreciate some advice about sterilising bottles and milk-expressing equipment. I have a steam steriliser that I will use for both, my question is what to do with the items once sterilised so that they stay sterile - can i put them in a sealed container e.g. large tupperware and use them as needed or do I need to setrilise every time just before i use? Given that the steriliser does several bottles at once I'm presuming there's a way to keep things sterilised but maybe that's just wishful thinking!

Thanks in advance for any tips
