I should have updated you all...
I sent her an email stating I was unhappy with the condition of the books and that they were what I considered to be, less than good. She appologised and offered me a refund. Due to the amount I paid I declined and my feedback simply stated "thanks for the trade"
Hers to me stated Great Trader A+++

Yeah I also agree with what all the other ladies have said. If someone told me that a book was in good condition I would expect it to be intact with no rips or stains, but look like it has been read, does that make sense?

i've had bad ones placed against me when i've complained about things i bought. i would do as the other ladies have suggested and just email them stating you were unhappy with the condition of the book. then if they disagree, you can place bad feedback.
if they then place bad feedback on you, at least you can put a reply on it and say it was there problem.

that is what really annoys me about trade me. People get really catty with the feedback and if they get a bad one they feel the need to place a bad one against you.

would depend what it is but basically something that has a little wear but still usable.
