I have to agree with Aimeejoy - it can take about a year for your body to recover from pregnancy and giving birth. However, you should book in for a check-up with your doctor to make sure that you haven't slipped a disk or pulled something out of where it should be. Sometimes if you have low blood pressure you can feel faint and there is a nerve (whose name I can't remember) that starts down your leg/hip area that can be pinched and end up giving you shocks/pain etc. Go get a check up - make sure you are all okay - it'll be worth it.

Mainly my hip which gets so sore sometimes I can hardly walk and my back (which is prob from all the lifting). I am still breastfeeding too and Hannah is over 7 months so I have no idea if/when things will go back to normal! Although my doc did tell me it takes around a year for your body to fully recover?

And I have been told it is quite normal and can be delayed "shock" PLUS you are still breastfeeding and that in itself takes a HUGE toll on your already tired body.

Try get as much rest as you can and maybe take a booster of some sort. Do some really calm exercise and have some nice hot baths?????

My bones have been clicking heaps and my elbows and back really hurt but I think this is from carrying round a heavy baby.

I also get random stomach cramps for no reason and have been feeling really light headed i kept nearly fainting yesterday and it's not from lack of water or iron.

Is this stuff normal for after a baby?
