Blended here - I have 2 children from previous relationshp and we have 1 together and one on the way ... Things couldn't be better. We ARE a family and DH is my other 2 father. Hi
Im step mum to a 17 year old who lives with us full time.
However ours is not a happy story, so anything I post isn't likey to be happy happy joy joy! lol It's good to be able to vent, though!

It is sooo hard being a "parent" to a child who isn't yours.

I was part of a childhood blended family and now have one myself.

I have one full brother.
Dad's second wife: 3 step brothers, 1 half brother and a half sister
Dad's third wife: 2 step brothers and one half brother the same age as my DD.
I had custody and raised the half brother and sister (2nd wife) for 6-7 years too.

My mum was also engaged to a man with 5 married children with children of their own. He passed away before they married, I was about 12 at the time.

Now I have a 10 year old DD of my own, and DF and I are expecting a son in Sept.

I am from a blended family of 7 children. CHAOS and FUN is all I can say. Is there anyone else out there who is in a blended family.

My partners two children who are 11 and 14 live with us full time, I have a son who is almost 3 and we now have a baby together. It's a real house full.
