Thanks for the info - will stick with the advised dosage. Think maybe the pill would be easier cos the liquid is DISGUSTING! But heard the liqud is more effective.

Hey Hila,
I've read that taking more than recommended can have adverse effects on your cycle... I take the 1000mg pill once a day and in worked in the first cycle I took it...

I think you can take more, but wouldn't suggest it.
How long have you been taking it for?

I didn't used to get natural AFs (periods) and I'd only take it 3-5 wks before it would kick start my hormones and an AF would arrive.

Hi Hila,

I wouldnt take more than directed personally.

I took a tablet version and from memory it was 2 per day.

It can take up to 3 months to regulate your cycle and doesnt work for everyone.

I have started to take Vitex (Greenridge brand, liquid vitex) in the hope that my period will return -
I am currently breastfeeding my 16 months old son once per day and there is no sign of my period at all.

The bottle says to take 2ml's per day. Does anyone take more than this? Is it safe to do so? And will it balance my hormones any faster?
