Thanks all - I ended up finding a really cute little long sleeved top thing (unisex but so cute) and some little booties (white with a little green star on them).

I agree- practical stuff. My cousin just had her second boy and it was the same time of year as her first, we just bought them a box of nappies/wipes etc, and some new world vouchers.

The most useful and appreciated things I got after I had lil miss were definitely meals - Simsam left dinner on my doorstep out of the blue one night and I'd had a particularly difficult day and it was honestly a Godsend.

If you could all contribute a bit then you could get attachments for prams or just give a voucher to go towards another carseat or something.

Otherwise I think a little outfit (unisex) is a good idea. God knows I haven't got a thing for this baby.

One of the mums in my coffee group has just had her second (the first of us to do so). As a group, we all put in a bit of money and bought a couple of merino outfits from Nature Baby. Not sure if your group would be up for something like that?

I agree with Julia though, some wintery things would probably be the way to go, there are some lovely unisex outfits at the moment.
Or maybe a baby book for the new bubs..or some of that clay you can take an imprint of babys feet(Ive seen it at the warehouse for a great price!).

Yep after having a summer baby, Elias basically needed everything lol.

Booties and Beanies are great .. as are mittens! That's a great idea about something wintery, I hadn't thought of the difference between summer and winter babies.

One of the ladies from my coffee group brought us round dinner one night when Kyle was a couple of weeks old, that was very much appreciated.
You could get stuff they might have run out of, like baby bath, moisturiser, massage lotion etc.

A couple of ladies from coffee group are nearly due with baby #2, their #1 babies are about 17 months old. I want to get them a little something but I have no idea what, cos they'll have everything from baby #1. Also neither of them know if they're having a boy or a girl, so can't really get a cute little outfit!
