I can always tell the moment he wakes from his afternoon sleep because of the crying. I just grab a blanket, and we often just sit on the couch and have snuggles. Sometimes 10 mins does the trick, unfortunately sometimes it's longer and he becomes very much a velcro baby

It doesn't seem to matter if he's had a short or long sleep...

I have tried everything from reading quietly to him, offering water and food, cuddles etc but so far I have found nothing that works for him. He eventually comes right but it can take quite a while some days.

ETA: maybe they're waking in the middle of a sleep cycle & feel like cr.p??

Edited by sally belly
