Mummydee I'd still have the issue of Eli not being able to see Jacob if I did that. Lilia was terrible at chewing on the top rails of her cot. In the end I used single sheets folded over a few times over the top rail and the excess hangs on the outside of her cot. I also use nappy/safety pins. I am sure it would be pretty easy to make something that was a bit more see-through. What a naughty bubba though!! You don't often hear of them chewing the rails! :)

Jackson is just ok. We've still got the tube and I suspect we'll have it for some time. Any extra formula we've tried to give on top of what he is used to drinking, has just been vomited. I have not done so much washing in all my life! Not just little spills either, these are 'everything-soaking' type chunders.

So, haven't gained the weight that fast, but we are getting there. Just started Motilium today - it's anti-nausea, tones the sphyncter and speeds food through the tummy. Sounds great, but doesn't work well for everyone. Sigh.

Other than that we're good. Jackson loves life, and loves his sleep as well, so I can't complain too much. Can't believe how fast he crawls... he was chasing a little (walking) 17mo at the park today and she was freaking out. Wrap a handtowel / flannel around them and either sew into place, or secure with nappy pins (we have a handtowel over each end of Olis cot - secure tightly with nappy pins, and he has never managed to get it off)

It has a rail cover but Eli is actually lying on his side on the mattress & managing to knore (spel?) the wodden uprights. He's managed to get his chin inbetween the rails & chomps away.

Any idea for stopping babies chewing on cot sides? I just walked into their room & there Eli was lying on his side & chewing away at the cot.

I have a cot bumber for the other sides but not for where you pull the cot side up & down & don't want to get one either because then he won't be able to see Jacob.
