I probably wouldn't use them for naps if they are leaking. Especially if a tummy sleeper as all the wee goes to the front, and the lower rise nappies will leak out the top. I have been putting him in a baby cheeks pocket for his sleeps the last couple of days and putting an extra insert in them and that seems to be working. He is now only having one sleep a day so I have enough to do that and night time (i put woolie shorties on him at night as well).

They don't seem to need stripping but if it gets any worse thats what I will do next....although its such a pain to do them

My boys ones do up like low riders but I don't usually get a problem with leaking from them. Have you striped them lately??

Noticed this morning that they are now sitting nearly 2 inches below his belly button, wonder if he has had a growth spurt lately! They still do up on the tight settings but the leaking is just such a pain.

They are sewn in ones...I only have 2 snap ins as I am not a fan of how they sat on him so changed them.

I wondered how his night nap would go as he has been leaking through everything and last week I put him back into cloth (after a gastro bug) at night..I have 1 ecobubs wool pocket which works great and other than that I use sweet cheeks pockets. Last nights sc seemed to be fitting oddly after all the squirming and wriggling but I left it...this morning after being in it nearly 14 hours..no leaks and one sides bottom snaps had popped and was flapping open!!!

Amazing!!!!

Out of interest, are they snap-ins or sewn-ins? I had some snap-ins for Leo that used to leak at the front so I replaced them with sewn-ins and the problem was fixed! I put it down the the snaps pulling the front down a bit as the sewn-in seemed a much neater fit at the front on him.

We went through a "phase" of this happening with Tom. I thought he was starting to hang on and then let it go at once and flood his nappy. I got so frustrated but it seems ok now. James also had MAJOR problems but that seems all fixed since we upgaded to the L and changed from AIO to SIO.

Yeah my sons does that too and its jolly annoying when it happens. I don't know if it is rise related as his have some butt crack if I'm not careful when puttin git on.
I think its because the top flick over sometime if you aren't careful. When I put my sons ones on I do them up then make sure its sitting flat on his tum by pulling the under bit down a little. Really bad discription but don't quite know how else to put it. Also make sure his bits are point down.

So pretty much everytime I change Joel after he has a sleep his front is wet...not just a little bit can get away with the same clothes wet, but sometimes right up his front and wring it out wet!

Now we mainly (95%) use ittis and I love them but not loving changing the boy 3 or more times a day! Could it be that he is a tummy sleeper and needs a higher rise at the front?? They come to about an inch below his belly button. Leah is still wearing them and yes on her we have definate butt crack problems, but she still fits them and doesn't leak, and is pretty much potty trained anyway.

So after that waffle I guess what I want to know is....how do you know that the rise is the problem? They don't leak at the legs and its mostly after his sleeps.

I have been looking at the dream-eze organic naps that someone else said were good, how much higher do they come up?

I love my ittis but am willing to sacrifice them for the greater good of my sanity if I have to!
