I realise that babies are older and people seem to be a lot busier now, so was thinking we could have a 'family day' at chipmunks and just have it so ppl can pop in whenever suits them for a couple of hours and let the kids crawl/run around and use it as an excuse to go down the big slide.... was thinking either Sat 28th or Sun 29th May...

Emmi- I do it walking the dog on the beach all the time - she loves it. I have even been known to throw a stick for the dog at the same time. BB's I like, cause, well it's in Dressmart for one thing, it's got comfy seats and the baby change/feed room and yeah the outdoor option is good and the fact it's fully fenced. I Like Kellys idea of BBs in Dressmart, it has a nice big space (fenced) outside so safe for the babes, much easier to put them on the ground and let them lose than try to contain them while we chatter!

IMO the one at the library used to be good but has gone downhill. I don't think they have many highchairs and there is a lot of options to get out and away if they are on the move plus it can get really busy. Most of the babies will need highchairs too... Umm Lily will be more than fine to sit on my lap to eat etc , I won't be bringing a pram either.

I've heard that cafe in Porirua by the library is REALLY GOOD but a bit pricey... One of the mums in my playcentre group said her coffee group has been there a few times.

Or there was the Southern Cross in town too.

Kelly, those are ideas too, not sure how much moving the other babies are doing though in terms of Chipmunks... But suppose they do have the baby area with a ball pit! Tbh I wasn't all that thrilled about Chipmunks when we went a few weeks back. I think it'd be a lot better once Lily's walking/running/climbing more. How about the possibility of BB's cafe in Dressmart Tawa? It has a playground for those babies on the move and indoor or outdoor dining. I know it's not Denny's, but was just trying to cater to the fact a lot of our babies are on the move now. Okay, I'm going to make an executive decision since I need to start blocking out my diary...

Denny's meet up with Ang & Josh will be Saturday, 2 April at 11am or there abouts

Just a thought though, now that we've pretty much all got bubbas and not bumps, how are we all going to fit in at Denny's?? Can we book in advance so that they can reserve that bigger table and a bit more space for us??

Apparently that Mint cafe in Porirua is really nice but busy as a result!

I should have my restricted by end of umm April so will be able to use one of the 4 cars we've got here to get about.
