I had worse morning sickness second time around too but I think it was more the fact I was running around after a toddler rather than the breastfeeding. Jack also self weaned around 20 weeks and I was really hating it by then so I let him.

And thats also when the fussiness starts. But we'll get there, I don't want to tandem feed so weaning will happen at some point.
Also I was really hoping that the fact that there are still hormones floating round that MS might be better than last time, but maybe not, hasn't hit me yet.

And yes I'll let all the curious Oct 08 mums (and the rest) know soon, but isn't it fun to be kept in suspense? Think how boring the let down is going to be when I tell you? What then will you live for?

She will either get used to it (if you persevere) or wean. REst assured she is still gettign everythign she needs form your breast milk, it just tastes a little different and some children don't notice and others do! Good luck and sticky vibes!

My morning sickness was worse with this pregnancy than with henrys but i didnt put it down to breastfeeding - strangely while feeding was the only time i didnt feeling like puking. Didnt have fussiness early on but did just over a week ago. Aparently at about 20wks or so the flavour of the milk can change and many toddlers self wean during pregnancy. I am hoping to tandem feed given that henry will still be quite young (15-16months) when bubs is born and i was hoping to feed him until 2years. Maybe you could just go with the flow - she may wean on her own anyway. I hope that helps. I asked questions about this when i first found out too. Hope this ones a sticky for you hun.

Also I have doubts about this one sticking.
I am 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and my DD who is brestfeed has become quite fussy at the breast, kinda of like when they are first born and they just feed and feed to build up your milk supply, she can feed for ages then keep crying at me until I give her a bottle, then suck down 200ml easy.
Has ayone experienced this before?
Is it because not enough nutrients are getting to her?
Also if you breastfed during pregnancy did you notice less morning sickness? I haven't been nearly as sick as I was with her.
TBH I'm about ready to just wean her, any advice would be great.
thanks
