But saying that Xanda is only still having one feed of solids a day and that is about 5.30pm, and he eats about 3 ice cubes of apple. Don't really want to start giving him more feeds until we are back from the states.]]>

We both work so we tend to buy his food from the supermarket.  He'll have about 3/4 of a pottle 3 times a day.  We do find it a struggle to get the 2.30pm feed in so will soon look at dropping that as his solids intake gets bigger (till he's eating 3 x full pottles).  So far we are only using the foods for 4 months plus, haven't advanced to the food for 6 month plus and probably wont till his hunger increases.]]>

Just give him something at breakfast time maybe? I dont really know why I decided to start Hannah on a third meal, but I did it when she was about 6 months.]]>

Plunket gave me a Guide to Baby Feeding and it says at stage 2 (from 6-7 months) to progress towards three meals a day.<br /><br />Zac has been on solids since he was 4 months and at the moment has baby rice and fruit between 11 - 11:30 and two ice cubes of vegetables between 4 - 4:30.  When I introduce the third meal would I need to change the times?]]>
