Have a hot shower and concentrate the water on your back you will feel really good and it made my water break and contrations start up.

I soaked through heaps too My mw told me to put a disposable nappy in my knickers on the way to the hospital lol. It certainly worked better than a pad.

Yeah i remember with Caden when my waters broke they just kept coming and coming and coming lol, I changed my pad a million times and had to changle my pants a lot lol
There was no mistaking that time it was my waters, as it gushed that once, and then heaps after that.

Rachel25 thats the same as me........the constant leaking was very annoying!!!   i had to walk around with a towel between my legs cos it would soak through a libra goodnight so quickly.....!!

Sheza - sounds like a baby is on the way.....how exciting!!!!   let you MW though know cos if it is your waters then you dont want to wait too long before labour (infection etc)

I havent had anymore since that one time, but my liner feels 'damp' and I have been getting the odd twingy cramp on and off.

Ooh sounds like what happened to me... I'd also just been wees hehe, climbed back into bed and felt some "leakage" and thought it surely couldn't be pee as I'd just been. So I went and sat back on the loo and was still trickling (the things we talk about on here!). Anyway, I grabbed a plastic cup and held that down there to catch the trickles and the liquid was clear. You should try catching some and see what colour it is! Turned out mine was hind water, and after the OB broke the front water membrane my wee girl was born 3.5hrs later

Well when my waters broke with Kaelen i got up to go to the toilet and then it still felt like i needed to go and there was a small gush then i walked out to the lounge and it happened again. lol. Then they just leaked and leaked till i had him. lol. I went to the hospital at 1pm that day and my MW pushed Kaelen's head up to let more of my waters out and even after that they just leaked heaps until i had him.

Definitely sounds like it could be your waters. Maybe ring your MW to see what she says.

ETA that when I had my show I didn't know if it was waters or not but I woke up with extra fluid down there and it kept coming quite mucousy tho. Chucked a pad in and was told if it got soaked that would be waters.

Turned out to be my show but contractions started sometime the next night anways and Mw did an internal and could still feel the waters, then over night they broke but fat head blocked them so I never felt them come out until her head was out

I just went to the toilet(number ones) and while I was peeing, felt a heap of pressure down there.
As i was walking back to the kitchen I felt a gush, so went back to the loo and It had soaked through my liner and undies, the gush was just small though, I dont *think* it smells like wee...and it felt kinda sticky.

I dont think anymore had come out...will check new liner shortly.

With Caden my waters broke and felt the same, a small gush, but with him not long after the gush the waters kept on coming!
