I am very happy to be able to say that Jimi is a toddler but behaving great most of the time!

Everyday I'm proud, especially when I see him do something that he couldn't or didn't do before. Sometimes even when it is naughty...it just shows me how inventive he is...

Also, we got a puppy dog for him and she is scared of the vacuum cleaner. they were, i must admit, the best kids out when my mum died...they were so good for me and didnt mind the constant tears and in the end would just look at me and pat my shoulder and say "are you sad about nana?" gabriel drew the most gorgeous picture of him and nana for her to take with her, and toby was just so sweet when he said his final goodbye. i think they kept me sane!

I love how my little girl wants to have cuddles and kisses with me - and I get full on the lip smackers with sound effects and all. It brings a smile to my face every time.

I also love how at the moment, I get into bed and get comfy and if she is with me she will rub my back to make it feel better. Well I have to say that Samantha is growing up to just be one of the kindest little girls - it makes me so proud. She will happily share her toys with friends and when she is given her favourite foods she insists on giving her friends or Mummy some so we can all enjoy them together. Jackson is a terror too.. But the other day the wee baby I look after was crying and Jackson tried to give him his blanky to make him feel better Hes just gone 15months so I thought that was really cute. Usually he tries to hit him or wack toys at him. Mum2Ella that's the cutest! She's going to be a very caring big sister.

Hannah's been a real Terror Tot recently - nothing out of the ordinary for a kid her age, but the selective hearing and the lack of respect for us was really beginning to get me down.

But today her little friend was here for a playdate. He fell asleep on the couch. I was terrified that she'd insist on waking him/jumping on him/being noisy. But she quietly walked over to him, patted his back and gave him a kiss on the forehead
Then she sat quietly and "read" her books until he woke up (allowing Mummy and her friend to chat and drink coffee )

With all the trouble toddlers get into, I thought it might be nice to have a thread where we can say all the positive things that our toddlers do....

 

I am suffering from really bad MS and tiredness at the moment, but have to say that I have never been more proud of my little girl. She can now sense when I am about to throw up, so runs in front of me and opens the door to the bathroom and then while I am throwing up rubs my back and says ''shhhhh all better now Mummy" and then yesterday while I was lying down on the couch she runs into her room and gets her precious blankie and one of her soft toys and tells me that I can cuddle it for the rest of the day It moments like these that you realise parenting is all worth it, and makes me realise it worth going through all the pain of pregnancy and birth.
