www.babyonthemove.co.nz hire buggies and attachments for a really good price. I think they are pretty much throughout NZ. It's worth having a look at their website. They stock all major brands.

Just wondering if anyone has a Bertini Trio. I really wanted one when I was pregnant, but just couldn't justify the $1000!!!! Have never seen anyone with one. Just wondered if they are worth the money. Not that I am planning on buying one, just wondering. I never bought the carrycot for my mountain buggy first time round, but I think I will the second time. (well maybe hire it, thanks emeldee). I have a steelcraft and do NOT recommend it. It is too big to fit in the car, really tricky to manoeuvre, topples slightly if the footpath isn't level, doesn't have a toddler attachment... I could go on forever. I would get rid of the damn thing but the in-laws bought it for us and Andy won't let me.

Yeah we got the carry cot for our valco if I was buying a bran new double (which at $1000 not likely)we would have got the carry cot attachment for that. I used it all the time with Alan it was his bed during the day.

That was the other thing I felt uncomfortable with, having the baby so low to the ground.

I've bought a Mountain Buggy double where the kiddies are side by side. It's as light as a single one and is easy to manouvre around. I won't be jogging with it - however my hubby will be. I personally like Phil andTEb in theory,but I hate the idea of the new borm being so low to the ground and asI don't drive baby need's to be in their for long periods of time.    Anyway I have a valcoand to honest don't recomend them at all it is so expensive and not that great. So for us we can't afford a new one so I have gone and got the toddler seat for our valco(I am hoping it will bust completely by the time I have number 3 so I will have to chose a new buggy). We brought a Phil & Teds buggy for our baby with the extra toddler seat. I have a Phil & Teds - you can push it with one hand (yep, even around corners) with 2 kids in. Soooo manouverable. People tell me that when they get older, the kids fight over who gets to sit in the BACK! I'll believe that when I see it :)

While I was just out walking right now, I saw a lady out jogging and I had a look at what buggy she had because I remeber you asking and she had a phil and ted, it looked like she was pushing it really easy and it was jumping up and down while she was running. We went with the mountain buggy option , I did like the Phil & Teds but to be honest I didn't like the baby being at the back behind the toddler seat, to me it just felt like one child was shoved behind and slighty under the other....just me though!! I have heard people rave about them so which ever one you do end up choosing, it will be excellent.

Hi. I havn't used a Phil and Teds buggy, but we have a mountain buggy and it is wonderfull!! It is so hard to choose which sort of buggy to buy isn't it. I have worried about the mountain buggy not being able to be used with 2 children, but you can get a board which attatches to the back for a toddler to stand on, which is probably what I will do. For all of your more experienced Mums out there I was just wanting a bit of buggy advice. We have narrowed it down to two buggies - either Mountain Buggy or Phil and Teds. I would really like to run with the buggy and for that reason mountain buggy is best BUT I love how Phil and Teds can be used for two children. Has anyone used Phil and Teds for jogging - it says it is not designed for that on their website but just wondered if anyone has any way and it has been fine.
