Wooden one here and it's been great. I might be thick but I've never been able to see the point of the ones with baths - if the change table is in the nursery then don't you have to lug the bath full of water to the nursery, and back again when you want to empty it? That seems like more work than bending over in the bathroom to me! You could always put the baby bath on a kitchen counter or similar if you didn't want to bend over. Or even put a baby bath on top of your wooden change table for that matter!

If you decided to keep it and not sell it the wooden one could be used for other things like a drinks trolley, toy trolley or tv trolley whereas the other ones really only have one use. We have a wooden one and love it. I found some neat baskets to go on the shelves to put all the little bits and pieces in.

We have the one with the bath in it and whilst we used the bath for the first 6 weeks, we used the floor to dry and dress. We now have a bigger baby bath which we put on the change table (when the top's up) when bathing. It's also annoying when you're changing a nappy, you don't have anywhere to put the dirty nappy while you get the clean one on and I also found the compartments sizes not very useful. You wont want to keep disposables in there because they'll get wet when you bath baby. If you're using wipes, they kinda just sit in the compartment looking very out of place.

I would definitely get a wooden one if I had a do-over.

We have one with a bath that we were given as a gift and have never used the bath on it, when they were showing us how to bath bubs at the hospital they pointed out that you need to undress them etc then transfer into the bath and back again, pretty difficult to do if the changing part is flipped up.

My Mum had a mobility trolley and we just put the bath on that and wheeled it round.

The bath inside the change table is quite small and its a pain trying to flip the lid back down and take him out of the bath all at the same time. I am definatly getting one to protect my back once baby is here but I am torn between wooden or one with a bath.

Has anyone used both and can reccomend one or the other?
