Your very lucky t-rex! none of my friends have offered to do that for me so i thought i'll go ahead and try and organise one myself! Its just that most my friends don't drive so it will be quite hard getting up to the coast. I agree with T-Rex, 30mins away is nothing.......most people travel from kapiti to wellington every day, its not like its auckland.........I travel into Wellington al the time, my in laws live in Wainui and i go there for bdays etc and just to go over and visit. A cafe could be really nice I would think, especially if you were able to book an area for yourselves? Depends how silly you want to get, or if you are expecting other small children perhaps?

Could you hold it at a friends house? Or what about a nice day out on the kapiti coast for everyone? I'd travel an hour to a friends baby shower.

I want to have a baby shower, just live about an hour away from all my friends! So wanting to have it in wellington but not sure if that would work? Im thinking at a cafe or something like that??
