bobbie- yeah:( ..they thought he was joking.. but realised he wasnt when i told them..then they felt bad:( I'm the only one without him on facebook. (otherwise i would have known)

he did cough but everyone watched him like a hawk he coughed twice and both times into his hand.. :) lol.. definitely didn't share anything and eventually the others made me a space at the end of the table:)

I think it's a fairly short incubation period. Have you visited the MOH influenza.org.nz site?

If he didn't cough, sneeze and you didn't share cutlery etc. then you're probably not infected.

i went out to a great dinner saturday and sat next to someone who had definite swine flu... w egot 5 days treatment that ended on wed and this was sat...his doc told him after wed was fine..

if i had known i wouldn't have sat next to him..i did wonder why noone else did:) I was a bit worried but now not freaked at all about it i just wondered if anyone knew the contagious period for it.. ? and if I was going to get it how long before I showed symptoms?
