Its exhausting washing all the time.
But one suggestion that really helped me was my midwife said to take a teaspoon of water and spill it on your bench - this gives you an idea for how much they are actually spilling. I thought henry was throwing back his whole feed but it looked like a lot more than it actually was.
everything else we did has already been suggested.
Hope it gets better for you hun as i know how frustrating and difficult this can be.

My midwife said to keep her reclined after Ive fed her and not move her around too much to give the milk time to settle.
I'll also change her nappy before I feed her, as she often spills while Im doing that.
I had to go out and buy two packs of cloth naps, and we go through a heaps of those a day some of her spills are massive!

Sometimes after she has spilled she is quite settled and will nod off, and sometimes she continues to root around and cry, so I'll feed her again. She gets weighed tomorrow, so if she hasnt put on a decent amount of weight I'll ask my MW about the spilling again.

She put on weight well with re-feeding and the Doctor said that even though it looks like everything has come out, they are still keeping a bit down. But if Bella seems really hungry after she spills up then I would probably give her more - that's the only way Chloe would get much milk at all.

We did things like lilfatty as well... change before a feed, sit up during feeds, don't lie down straight after feeds, cot end propped up, etc. We also used to use cloth nappies on her/our lap as well as bibs during feed times so that we *hopefully* didn't need a shower and change of clothes after every feed, lol.

We also ended up getting her reflux meds because they helped a bit, she was happy enough most of the time when she chucked but got grumpy at other times. Gaviscon powder helped her keep it all down a bit better as well.

If Bella is only spilling occasionally then I wouldn't worry too much about it, if you are feeding her when she's hungry then she will put on weight well. But if you are worried then talk to your midwife or Dr.
