Hubbys cousins daughter wasn't diagnosed with it until she was almost a year and has recently had an operation, and our antenatal group coordinator has a young son (less than a year old) who has to have an op to correct it too.

On another note though, every time my own hip clicks, poor bubs gets a huge fright and jumps!

She said she doubts very much that we would be hearing any joints click through the uterus and our bellies and that it was probably OUR ribs or cartildge that have been softened during pregnancy and maybe bubs is pushing up against them getting them to "click". I've had imflamed rib cartildge throughout my whole pregnancy (on both sides now) so that makes sense for me, but everyone is different.

Also - bit of info re. clicky hip. Most common in breech babies and you still can't tell until the baby is born as is having it's first assessments.

Hope that helps Linelle
