The dentist rang this morning at 8:50, to ask if I could make it to a 9:30 appointment... it snowed last night, enough to close the schools, and someone couldn't make it to their appointment.

I flew through the shower, bundled up the kids and was only 5 minutes late! My children were very good for the receptionist (who babysat them while I was in with the dentist) and I now have a brand new filling! Anaestetic has worn off, and it's starting to hurt like mad! I'm glad I took my painkillers an hour ago... End result: I need a root canal done. I've got a gap between two teeth that has been getting slowly bigger over the last little while, and now one of the teeth beside the gap is half dead.

I got a script for antibiotics, and got put to the top of the "pain list" (which means that as soon as someone cancels, I'll get their appointment). I'm not feeling 100% today. I'm either getting a really bad cold or the 'flu... I woke up after a really good sleep with a headache, sore neck, sore shoulders, sore hips, stuffy nose and phlemmy throat, and feeling really tired still. I didn't get dressed until 11:30!
