Also you might want to PM Manz from the Oct 07 babies, her little girl failed the heel prick test and they went on to have the tests etc. She might be able to give some more advice etc.

I didn't find out with the heel prick test (found out antenatally), but my son has CF and my friend just recently found out her wee boy had CF too (heel prick). Flick me a PM if she wants to email me or anything as I have HEAPS of info I could pass on, but sometimes too much info is not what you want!

By all accounts my wee boy is a happy boy, but we have had a few ups and downs, but its not the end of the world. Hi

My sisters baby has failed her heel prick test and she has been told by her MW that her baby has a 1 in 4 chance of having cystic fibrosis (sp). She is in the process of being referred to the paedatrition(sp). She has been given brochures etc but just wanted to know if anyone has been done this track and if so what was the final outcome.
