Didn't want to read and run popstress, but would like to wish you well in your attempts! Don't be afraid to head to the Dr as timing is everything.

For us (in our 30's) it was going to take approx 4 years to get onto the IVF public funding waitlist and after 2 years we've decided to go privately (and my hormones weren't playing ball).

So at least if there is something going on for you, and you get into the system, then the time may start ticking by before you know it. Hope this may be of some help!

Thanks for all your replies.

I don’t think charting is really for me, we just BD every second day.

I have decided to give it one more month and then visit my GP. This month I am going to try a little bit of Acupuncture instead. I would also like to see a hypnotherapist - I am reading a book that recommends this, especially after m/c - but my partner thinks that this is way too weird and over the top….so I guess I will let him have his way for now.

I was the same as you, I fell pg and MC'ed just before 8 weeks. It then took us 6 months to fall pregnant again.

I'd definitely go see your Dr. The month before I fell pg my dr said to wait one more month and if it didnt happen he'd start tests and refer me to a Gynae. Thankfully I didnt need it but we were prepared to take that step.

Welcome Popstress   I would recommend you seeing your GP, you first round of tests is just for hormones and you only need to get your blood tested on a few days and it will give you an idea what your hormones are doing.  

... and I agree with Emmi,  come and join us in the charting thread... it gives you a basic idea of when you might ov or have ov'd and it other interesting things

Yeah I would head to the Drs too, has AF been regular? Have you thought about charting? There is a great charting thread, and it shows you when you Oved, and is great to make sure your timing the BD well..

I would go to the docs if you are worried. The worst they can do is say come back in 6 months, and hopefully they won't do that.

This is my first time posting on OHbaby - but I have been lurking quite a bit....

I had a miscarriage in February at about 8 weeks. Now we have been TTC for 6months and I am 26 years old. I think I would quite like to go and see my GP so that I can maybe get some tests done or somthing.

The question is do you think it is too early for this? I know some advise is to wait for a year but I don’t think I can wait that long!
