Hi margipargi,

I'm due in five and half weeks time and did the hypno-birthing course, I found it really helpful and learnt loads. My husband loved it too. I've not had the baby yet so can't say how much it helps but so far its helped to keep me calm and relieved some of the fears I had about giving birth. I've been using it when i get other aches and pains and braxton hicks which is every day at the moment.

the book is great! worth reading. would recommend the classes if you can afford it!

I do remember quite a big thread about hypnobirthing - there are a few ladies on here who did the courses.
I did a lot of hypnobirthing reading in the last stage of pregnancy and used alot of it in labour & birth - I used only gas and had a 3&half hour labour - I firmly believe it helped ALOT!
