We've got the Mocka designer chair - fantastic!

Mika is a VERY MESSY eater (we do BLW), and thank heavens for this chair. You sweep it clean in just a few seconds.
The wooden Mocka one would probably be nicer if they get a little bit older, because they can climb on and off it themselves, which promotes their independence. I would have gotten that one if I had the money, although it's not as easy to clean as the designer one. We were given an old high-chair which I used to start with but it was such a pain to clean - so many places where food got stuck. Gave it away and bought a wooden Mocka one. So easy to clean!! i would definitely get a wooden / plastic or vinyl one next time. I got one with a detachable fabric cushion cover that is just stupid cos you pretty much have to take it off and wash it after each meal.

The only thing I kept in mind when buying our highchairs was making sure that the clips were easy use.

We did get highchairs that recline which we use for bottle time which I have found invaluable with twins but having said that I would have gone for more simplistic ones if I had my time over again.

The wooden ones are so much easier to clean than the "Gucci" bells and whistles evenflow (or similar) ones.

If i had my time again, id get a mocka highchair, but since ive already bought one we just stick with it. I've been looking around at high chairs and nothing really stands out. What sort of features do you look for in a high chair? Are the ones with compartments any good, or more annoying to clean? Is there any benefit for the wooden ones?
