Is there a mcdonalds? They do those pasta filled "animals" .. its only a couple of nights so im sure take away food wouldnt hurt.

No the rooms don't have a microwave they would probably heat up for instant the vegs as they were happy to sterilse the bottles for us last time - but apart from ham not sure what else to offer in the meat department ... Maybe something like quiche and salad as they can be served cold and you could bring them with you? I guess your baby won't be into that though..I don't know, it is a bit of a tricky one!
Will you have any facilities available at all? ie a microwave?

Hi, we are going away next week for two nights with our 11 and a half month old. We are ok with breakfast and lunch but what can we do for dinner? I haven't booked accommodation but it will probably be without cooking facilities. I was thinking of making up and taking with us pumpkin/kumara (frozen), I think it won't defrost too much on our drive - is this safe to do? I was thinking worst case we could do ham with the vegs for dinner - does anyone else have any ideas? The cost of booking with a kitchette is about $150 more than just a room.
