I'm just new on this site was recommended to me by a friend. Hi ladies hoping you might be able to advise me. I came off the pill about 4 months ago now, i had a normal withdrawl bleed then 18 days later some spotting and a day of bleeding. Then 35 days later a proper AF and then the next cycle was 29 days and the last was 31 so It can take a while to really settle. I have endo as well which probably isnt helping.

My advice is even if you arnt going to be trying straight away come off and use the rubbers till then as your body can sure take its own sweet time about it.

i came off the pill at the end of july....had my first af/withdrawl bleed right on time and since then have had nothing....waiting...waiting.....sigh

Maia07 if i was in your postion i wouldnt wait till november to stop the pill and just use condoms untill when u want to get pregs.

Depends on when you want to start TTC. Hi ladies, so just after some advice etc, i am going to be coming of the pill in the beginning of novemember as thats the last packet i have left of my pill and i wont be going back to the docs to get anymore we've decided :).

I agree with PP, in that I would doubt you are PG after having sex once 3 days after stopping the pill... My withdrawal bleed was only a real light flow for 2 days... Probably not, you will need to have ovulated which usually takes about a week or so from when your period started.

Also every time you come on and off the pill (even if it is only half a packet) you will likely have a 'withdrawl bleed' because your hormone levels are telling your body to bleed.

I always found a good bit of nookie stopped AF early - sorry if TMI!!! After stoping the pill I got withdrawl bleeding perfectly normal! I normally get this bleeding heavy for a week at least.

This time it only lasted 2-3days, The next day after having unprotected sex the bleesing stoped! I was confused and unsure why till i remembered i had, had unprotected sex.

Could i be pregnant or is this one big coincidence?



Note: I had come off the pill not so long ago due to personal reasons and got a period with 2weeks after withdrawl bleeding if this helps, I only went back on to see if that was my problem it was so now off for good if i go by last time i should be having or about to have a period
