Mine was horrendous!

My PP bleeding finished about 4-5 weeks and I got my first period at 7 weeks.   It was definitely not lochia.

I didn't go to see my doctor, I rode it out for 10 days of the worst, heaviest, grossest, clottiest bleeding I have ever had.   

Hope it stops soon!   I would ask your midwife or GP though, because I think there is something they can give you to slow or stop the bleeding.

ETA to add that like clockwork, my next period came 28 days later and was just like a normal period for me, which is heavy for a day or so in the middle but not much else.

They probably wouldn't, but if it's a lot of blood it doesn't hurt to get it checked out. My bleeding went to spotting and then went heavy again after I had an active day. Oh I didn't realise your baby was so new.
