um... normally after a positive opk you ovulate between 12 - 36 hours after that..

Hi shellgirl..  this cycle I had a positive opk for two days...  it is possible that you can ov twice.. I think it was Emmi that said that if you ov twice it happens over a 24 hour period..

Hi

Does anyone know how long the LH remains elevated - does it drop before ovulation?

I've had a positive OPK at 6 pm last night. I had some pains today that I think were probably ov pains (sharp pain on one side for about 1 hour). Have noticed them before, but never put two and two together. Anyway, I had another positive OPK tonight. Would i still have a positive OPK test if I have ovulated today?
