My Dr said MWs diagnose thrush all the time when it probably isn't.
Do both breasts hurt at the same time?
My let down is sometimes painful, and every now and then I get an 'odd' pain throughout my chest, but on one side only.
I've been tested for thrush and didn't have it.
Got better after 8 wks, but you're well past that.

Does it ease off once he is feeding????? From what I have heard thrush is painful at latch then after feed has finished. When I had it I would get the pain after expressing.

The last few days when I get a letdown while b/f I get a really sharp pain in my back.  In the past I've sometimes had back pain but nothing as sore as this.  When I express (which I do daily) I dont get the pain.
