That age is bliss to fly with. I hate flying with my boys now due to their age but we still do it every year.

Travelling with babies at 3 - 5 months is a good age as they are not mobile as yet and will sleep and drink

Don't be nervous, Air NZ are so fantastic when you bring a bubba

PS; a nice snuggly blanket would be handy, sometimes the plane can get a bit chilly.

I found the younger they are the easier they are to travel with. I flew with an 8 week old and it was fine. You might find that bubs falls asleep as the noise and movement of the plane can be relaxing for them!

Feed on take off and landing to help with air pressure on bubs ears, or give them a pacifier to suck if they use one and you don't want to feed.
